It's ironic that a blog is usually about the writer and his or her opinions. This is a blog that I started and the opinions expressed here are mine, but at the same time I aim to make it all about Jesus!
I was saved, I mean truly saved when I was 30 years old. The reason I say truly is because I was baptized when I was 19 and I gave my life to Jesus at that time, but then after a little while I began to backslide and fall right back into a life of sin. A series of events that led up to 30th birthday left me cold, bitter and angry. That's when Jesus called me home and I've never looked back!
That was in 2013 and I know that's not a long time ago but since then Jesus and I have walked together in ways I never knew possible. At some point I'm sure I'll write more of my story in a blog post but this page is supposed to tell you about me and I've already gone over the two paragraphs that the template allows.
My name is John, I am married to wonderful woman named Nancy and together we have two sons, Austin (7) and Jaxon (5). Being a husband and father is what I live for! And Jesus, of course. I can comfortably say that the four happiest days of my life are the day Jesus called me, the day I got married and the days my sons were born.
In this blog I hope to make you laugh, cry, and maybe even get a little uncomfortable when I write that something you didn't know before. I aim to enlighten, encourage and influence you to read more, learn more and worship more.
Even though this blog is written by me, It is actually supposed to be all about Jesus.
